Applications of BBa_K289003
The part we call GSH plays an important role in the Microsystin sysytem. The function of the GSH gene is to express the fusion protein of the AD(with RNA polymerase activating domain)and the glutathion. In our experiment, the function of the glutathion is to bind both the UPS of the target gene and the microsystin (the molecular we want to detect). So the GSH play the role of the linkage in our project. Only when the GSH link to the microsystin and the RNA polymerase of the target gene can be expressed. And we can prove it by the chart below.
In this chart : the figure one to figure four show that when we put the microsystin in the media the GSH protein fusion can both bind with the microsystin and the RNA polymerase which can express the protein that can give out the color. And in the figure five without the input of the micosystin the protein can not be expressed, so we can't see the color. The figure six is the positive control of the blue color.
